If you want to feel the atmosphere of the Betawi, let's go to Kampung Betawi located in Setu Babakan.
This village is located in South Jakarta area precisely in Srengseng Sawah Village, District Jagakarsa. This vast area covering 165 hectares, there are nearly 3000 Head of Families who are mostly indigenous Betawi.

MONAS

National Monument ( MONAS )

 National Monument or popularly abbreviated or Tugu Monas is a monument as high as 132 meters (433 feet). Form of memorial that one is very unique, is the cornerstone obeliks marble yoni phallus-shaped fertility symbol based on Hindu culture. Construction of this monument began on August 17, 1961 under the orders of President Soekarno, and was opened to the public on July 12, 1975. The monument is crowned with flames of gold-coated sheet which symbolizes the spirit of struggle burning.

Silat Cingkrik comes from Rawa Belong. Historically, around 1817, living swordsman named Ki Maing that once met Nyi Saereh with apes. Because the behavior of the Ape upset, Ki Maing was hit with a stick.
But, the repercussions are always misses because the monkeys are very agile. Arriving home, Ki Maing inspired agility and intelligence of the ape. He then combines movement with the stance he has ever mastered.
